Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival
Arrival at Entebbe airport where you will be welcomed by a safari guide from our company and transferred to your accommodation in Entebbe or Kampala.

Day 2: Transfer to Kibale National Park
Early in the morning, we will depart the capital and head to Kibale National Park. This place is famous for the famous tea plantations. On arrival, you will check in at your lodge and after proceed for a nature walk in the evening were you will search for the bush babies, Pottos and other nocturnal animals.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking – Bigodi eco-Swamp
Head to the park Headquarters, meet officials show them details and permits for registration and allocation of chimpanzee community to trek. You will then be allocated to a chimpanzee community and your ranger guide will lead you on the trek in search of this great ape. Watch the chimpanzees in their natural habitat, as they swing from the branches in the canopy high above the forest floor, feed, play and rest.
In the afternoon, explore the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary. The reserve is abundant with butterflies, plants, animals and spectacular birds like Great Blue Turaco and rare Papyrus Gonolek will be of great interest to birders. The swamp is also home to elusive animals such as Red Colobus monkeys and Sitatunga.

Day 4: Kibale Forest – Semuliki National Park – Fort Portal
After your breakfast, you will transfer to Semuliki National Park. You will have a stop at some crater lakes for an amazing scenery then visit the Sempaya Hot Springs in the afternoon, some say the spring waters have healing powers. You can choose to boil some eggs within the springs naturally boiling water. later drive back to Fort portal for overnight. Semuliki is a unique place and the only lowland jungle in East Africa, part of the Congo ecosystem.

Day 5: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, we shall calmly transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park as we pass the crater lakes areas, beautiful landscape with small lakes and rolling hills. Have lunch and relax before going for a game drive in search of the wildlife, including the warthogs, buffalos, waterbucks and the elephant’s experiences

Day 6: Morning Game Drive – Boat Cruise
The day begins early when we start with a morning game drive and head to the mating grounds of the Uganda Kobs. We search for the lions, elephants, buffalos, and many other wildlife species in their natural habitat before returning for lunch at the lodge.
After lunch, head out to the Kazinga channel. You will take pleasure in cruising on a 2 hours’ boat safari along Kazinga channel that connects Lake George and Lake Edward, while on the boat you will see a good number of animals like Hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, warthogs, elephants, kobs among others and also a collection of birds like the malachite kingfishers, pink backed pelicans, on the banks and in trees.

Day 7: Ishasha Sector – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Breakfast early in the morning, and after start your transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, you will pass via Ishasha Sector where you will have chance to view the tree-climbing lions and many other species. Later in the evening, you will arrive at the park and check-in as you enjoy the traditional home steads of the local people in Bwindi.

Day 8: Gorilla Trekking –Batwa Trail
After a comprehensive briefing overview from one of the head guides about what to expect during your gorilla trekking adventure, you will split into groups of 8 people for which the gorilla family you will be tracking. If you need a simple hike, inform your guide before the briefing so that he helps speak to the trackers to select for you a simple hike. The trackers have an idea of how far each group is as their colleagues go into the forest earlier to establish actual locations of the gorilla groups. Do hire a porter, even if you feel fit enough not to need a hand up having someone else to carry your backpack makes it so much easier as you hike.
Return to your hotel for lunch and in the afternoon rest, and late evening head out to visit the Batwa pygmies’ communities which are just neighboring the park. These were the former forest inhabitants who were led out of the forest in order to conserve mountain gorillas and their habitat. You will have a chance to interact with them and learn about their culture. A unique and unforgettable experience.

Day 9: Bwindi Impenetrable – Lake Mutanda
In Bwindi it is possible to do one of the optional activities: A second gorilla tracking, forest walk, birding walk or a community experience with the exceptional Batwa people. Afterward transfer to Lake Mutanda, one of the most beautiful places in Uganda.
On a clear day you can see the 3 volcanoes in the distance. Relax at the lodge or do one of the following optional activities: boat trip on the lake, walk along the lake or to the local people, go for a swim, or visit the pygmies.

Day 10: Transfer to Entebbe – Via Equator
After breakfast, we depart the park back towards the capital city. Look out for zebras and Impalas as the road leads us through the protected area of Lake Mburo National Park and a stopover take some photos at the Uganda Equator. Lunch will be served on route and we will arrive in Entebbe in the evening.
