Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi
You will be picked up by our guide from your hotel in Entebbe/Kampala after an early morning breakfast at around 07:00hrs. You will be briefed about the whole safari before you travel to Bwindi Impenetrable which is found in the southwestern part of Uganda. The journey is roughly 7 to 8 hours drive and along the way there are a few stop overs such as a local drum and craft making community so you will have a visit here, then a stopover at the Equator to take photos, also feel free to buy some crafts and souvenirs as you head to Mbarara town where you will have your lunch from. Thereafter, proceed to Bwindi whereby you will arrive in the late afternoon. Check in at the lodge, relax in the evening and have Dinner.

Day 2: First Trekking
Have an early breakfast then transfer to the headquarter were visitors shall be briefed, given guide lines on gorilla trekking for about 30minutes. You will be divided in groups of 8 and then set off for the jungle at 8:00hrs. Fight your way out through the steep slopes and thick under growth where the forest name was driven. You will meet the Gorillas, and enjoy the experience for 1hour. Trekking can be as short as 30minutes or long as 6 hours depending on the season and the movement of the gorilla family you are visiting. You will then return to the lodge for a meal and have a community walk and walk through the Batwa trail, the most unique people in Uganda. Experience their culture through dancing, hunting demonstrations and then return to the lodge and retire for the day.

Day 3: Second Trekking
Wake up call after breakfast check out report for to the head quarter for trekking after spending time with family return to lodge pick up all the visitors baggage drive to Entebbe to catch up with the home flight.
Additional Information
Gorilla permits are obtained very early at least 4-month prior actual visit due to high demand for them, trekking can be done during peak seasons June to September as well as drier season of December through February or one can trek during low season of March to May were prices are friendly. Hiring porters is a must if one has luggage of more than two 2kgs, remember to carry foodstuff and 2 liters of mineral water.
NB: visitors are supposed to purchase two different permits for double trekking.
